About

The first person Luffy met on his journey. Started as a terrified cabin boy forced to work for the pirate Alvida. Luffy inspired him to chase his dream of becoming a Marine. He trained under Garp and grew from the weakest character in the series into a Marine Captain with Observation Haki. He is a member of SWORD, the Marines' secret unit.
