About

A former Warlord of the Sea and the main villain of the Thriller Bark arc. His Shadow-Shadow Fruit lets him steal people's shadows and put them into corpses to create zombie soldiers. He lost his entire crew to Kaido in the New World years ago, which broke him — he decided to build an undead army instead of recruiting living people. The World Government tried to have him killed at Marineford to cover up the war's chaos.
