Kaido's child who witnessed Kozuki Oden's execution as a kid and decided to become Oden — literally taking his name, his fighting style, and his dream. Kaido chained Yamato up and blew up the island's bridges to keep them imprisoned on Onigashima. Yamato fought alongside Luffy during the raid and held Kaido off alone while Luffy recovered.
