The great Shandian warrior from 400 years ago who befriended the explorer Montblanc Noland. Their friendship bridged the gap between their peoples until a misunderstanding tore it apart. When the Knock Up Stream launched half of Jaya into the sky, Calgara and the Shandians were sent to Skypiea. He rang the golden bell to signal Noland, but Noland arrived to find the island gone.
